So, being new to the whole blogging thing, I thought long and hard about what I wanted to discuss. I started to plan carefully and somewhere along the way, I began to think about how I was going to become Nationally syndicated and famous and blah, blah, blah. It took me four days to decide on a name and then another four hours before I had everything registered. I messed with the settings and the colors, fonts and type for another two and when I was done, I was exhausted. Four days, six hours, and some un-kept minutes into my blogging career, I was too tired to blog.
I laid down for a nap and when I awoke, I decided that I was ready. I again sat down to the computer and thought to myself "This is your chance to be a star; to be famous like Beck." But again, I couldn't write anything. I was too set on writing something so profound, so prophetic, that nothing happened.
I decided to surf the web a little and the first site I went to was Drudge. The headline above the "fold" was "OBAMA PUSH FOR 'WORLD' REGULATIONS." My blood began to boil and it was right then that I realized what a fool I was. I didn't decide to start this blog because I wanted to get rich or famous. I started because of the current political environment in this country. What have we done to ourselves America?!
I hope that by putting onto paper my thoughts and feelings that I will inspire others to do the same. I hope that my one voice will start a avalanche of of voices and that that avalanche will be heard by our leaders; both Republican and Democrat. Above all else, I hope that this blog will initiate another "Change."
